Context: Special meeting of the University of Bucharest’s Gender Studies Platform
Date: Friday, March 10, 2023: all day presentations/discussions expected
Meeting venue: the UB-Gender Studies Platform, Room 102, Panduri 90, Bucharest, Romania (building of the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest.)
In the framework of the UB-Gender Studies Platform recently created within the activities of the Gender Equality Plan at the University of Bucharest (https://gep.unibuc.ro/platforma-icub/), a special international meeting will take place on March 10, 2023 in order to gather and share interdisciplinary current gendered research interests and results.
Researchers from the University of Bucharest and other universities and research institutions in Romania, but also from other countries, are kindly invited to present their past, current, and upcoming gendered research results. We would like to gather presentations from various domains in order to create a full-day meeting with engaging, thought-provoking and cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in gender studies. We hope the platform will offer also the environment for identifying various future collaborations in the area.
We are planning to have a hybrid academic relaxed meeting, both in person and online, so please feel free to apply if you can present your ideas online.

Please send us a brief e-mail message with the topic you would like to present (title, affiliation, your e-mail address, and one short description paragraph).
We aim to publish, after the meeting, a Proceedings volume starting from the topics presented and you are welcomed to send your manuscripts (either in English or Romanian). The deadline for sending the manuscripts is June 30, 2023. Papers between 3000 and 7000 words, written with Times New Roman, size 12, in the Harvard style are expected. More details will be discussed during the meeting.
